AI auto-reply to comments

What it does

When someone comments on a Facebook or Instagram post, Magik replies automatically — in real time, triggered by the comment itself, not on a delay or a scheduled run. If the post is about a specific product, the reply is written with that product's real name and current price pulled live from the Shopify catalogue, not a generic response.

Why the timing is the point

A comment asking about price or availability is a buying signal, and buying signals decay fast. Answered in the first minute, it can become a sale. Answered eight hours later when someone finally checks the account, the interest has usually moved on. Auto-reply exists to close that gap — it fires the moment the comment lands, whether that's the middle of the afternoon or the middle of the night.

In your brand voice

Reply tone is set separately from post captions, so a store can write short, direct captions but want warmer, more personal replies — or the other way round. The store's language and tone settings apply automatically, and merchants can add their own written instructions to steer how replies sound.

What it doesn't do

Worth being precise about, since overselling this would waste your time:

• Facebook and Instagram only. It does not reply to TikTok comments or to direct messages on any platform, yet.
• It doesn't guarantee a link in every reply. It answers with the real product name and price; whether a specific product link is included depends on the conversation, not a fixed template.
• Replies are capped at 500 characters, plain text — no hashtags, no markdown.
• There's a monthly reply limit by plan, not unlimited replies.
